What to include with your RFQ

Send what you already have. Open the relevant checklist and mark any details that still need confirmation.

For production sourcing: single-item retail purchases and very small repair quantities are generally not a fit. Share your intended sample and production quantities for review.

Connector components
  • Drawing or series reference, required component and mating counterpart.
  • Pitch, position count, orientation, mounting and locking requirements.
  • Wire specification for crimp contacts; board layout or footprint for board-mounted parts.
  • Sample and production quantities, target schedule and required inspection documents.

Identify housings, contacts and board connectors separately. Pitch alone does not establish mating compatibility.

Housings, terminals and board connectors can be supplied separately or as a set. Standard connector samples are free, excluding freight; typical production MOQ is 1,000–5,000 pieces per model or configuration. Custom header production MOQ is generally 5,000 pieces per model or configuration; sample charges depend on whether existing tooling supports the requested insulator height. Packaging can follow customer requirements.

Custom cable assemblies
  • Drawing, sample photographs or a description of the required connections.
  • Each connector end, viewing direction, pinout and wire or cable specification.
  • Lengths, measurement references, routing and any molded-body requirements.
  • Sample and production quantities, target schedule and acceptance checks.

For LVDS projects, include the display and board interfaces and your intended display or system validation.
