Choose the LVDS cable construction for your project

Start with the specified cable structure. We review the connection ends, wire specification, shielding and mechanical layout together before sampling.

Define the complete connection

A request for a 30-pin or 40-pin LVDS cable is a starting point. Include the connection map and both interfaces so the drawing describes the assembly you need.

ItemWhat to specify
Connection endsConnector details at both ends, contact count, mating interface and orientation.
Pin-to-pin mappingThe connection table, signal and power assignments, differential pairs and ground connections.
Cable constructionTwisted pair, shielded wire or micro-coax, with the required wire and insulation specifications.
Length and routingCable length, measurement reference, tolerances, branches and enclosure routing constraints.
Shielding and protectionShield arrangement, grounding, wrapping, sleeves and other protection shown on the drawing.
Acceptance requirementsElectrical checks, mechanical inspection criteria and the customer’s application validation requirements.

If a detail is undecided, identify it in your inquiry so it can be reviewed before the drawing is confirmed.

From your drawing to an approved sample

Build accuracy and application validation are separate steps. We manufacture to the agreed drawing; you confirm the sample in the target display and system.

01

Share your drawing or sample

Send the drawing, pinout table and connector details. If you have a physical sample, we prepare a drawing before sampling. We can also help prepare a drawing when one is not available.

02

Confirm the proposed assembly

Review the connection mapping, cable construction, dimensions and quotation. The agreed drawing becomes the reference for the sample.

03

Validate the sample in your system

We build the sample to the agreed drawing and carry out electrical checks. You test the sample with your display, controller and application before approving production.

04

Approve and place the order

After sample approval, place the production order against the confirmed drawing. The production minimum order quantity for this LVDS range is 200 pieces.

Samples are generally free. No crimp-tool or fixture fees. LVDS production MOQ: 200 pieces.

Clear inspection and validation responsibilities

Electrical assembly checks support build quality. The customer validates the cable in the application before production approval.

LDZY: assembly and electrical checks

  • 100% continuity testing
  • Short-circuit and wiring checks against the confirmed connection map
  • Visual checks and periodic process inspections
  • Terminal retention checks where applicable

Customer: display and system validation

We send drawing-based samples for testing with your display, controller and installation.

Impedance/TDR, eye-diagram and in-factory display connection testing are not offered. Any required signal-performance validation needs to be arranged by the customer.

Frequently asked questions

What is an LVDS cable assembly?

An LVDS cable assembly connects the specified interfaces in an LVDS signal system. For a custom build, the complete connection mapping, cable construction, shielding and mechanical requirements need to be defined for the project.

Can you make 20-pin, 30-pin or 40-pin LVDS cables?

We review the required connector and pin count against your drawing or sample. A pin count alone does not define the assembly: please include both connector ends, the pin-to-pin table and the cable specification.

Can you manufacture from a sample without a drawing?

Yes. We can prepare a drawing from your physical sample before sampling. If neither a complete drawing nor a sample is available, we can help prepare the drawing from your requirements for confirmation.

Do you offer twisted-pair, shielded and micro-coax constructions?

Yes. All three constructions are supported. The connector, wire, shielding and assembly details are reviewed for the specific project and confirmed in the drawing.

Do you perform TDR, eye-diagram or display connection testing?

No. We do not offer impedance/TDR or eye-diagram testing, or in-factory display connection testing. We manufacture to the approved drawing and provide samples for the customer to validate with the target display and system.

Which checks do you perform?

Every completed assembly receives electrical testing for continuity, short circuits and wiring against the confirmed connection map. Visual checks and periodic process inspections, including terminal retention where applicable, support production control.

What are the sample and tooling charges?

Samples are generally free of charge. We do not charge crimp-tool or fixture fees for this assembly service. The quotation confirms the project details before sampling.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The production MOQ for this LVDS cable assembly range is 200 pieces. Sample requirements are discussed separately.
